One thing I say a lot is that my most important item is a nice big wall art. While it’s nice to have small wall arts and arrange them accordingly, I like big a wall art and how it occupies the whole wall. The color of the wall art also matters as it needs to have similar color as the room.

Utilize black paints if you want to because they’ll further increase the chance of you getting that dark aesthetic vibe that you want. Using a single color for your design is a cheat code, I’d always recommend an all-white design but we’re trying to create something darker so this color is perfect. One thing that’ll elevate your design even more is if you use different shades for different colors.

It’s very normal to find plants in any bohemian setting, this is something I’ve noticed a lot so placing plants is key. Setup a nice plank on the wall so you can place your wall art and small plants, this ideas creates a good place to put those items while saving space.

Lighting might be one of the best things ever. It’s always nice to see people who are very passionate when it comes to light setting. Setting up your light determines the tone of the room, this is probably the most important part of decorating.

Setting up lights on the wall has been a game changer for me. I’ve always thought it was too much but since I started it, I’ve never looked back. Plants can be as big as you want them too, this depends on how big your space is.

Most people would frown at the idea of placing large plants in their room. I’ve heard clients specifically say to me “please I don’t want plants that are too big or hard to maintain, just something small and beautiful will do”. I’d often try to convince them but most would agree.

Mirrors are becoming more than an item people use to check themselves out. Most people are now using mirrors as a form of wall art, you’ll find their mirrors hanging on the wall like every other wall art. You’ll think it’s a terrible idea until you give it a try.

Using different colors in a single room is never a bad idea especially if you know how to merger different colors. The scope is to use colors that complement each other, you have to make use of colors that blends in with each other so you don’t end up creating a disaster.

It’s easier for darker colors to blend in with each other than it is for brighter colors, this is something I’ve notice a lot when decorating. you can see how the center rug, wall paint, ceiling and nightstand all have different colors yet the design looks unique.

Sometimes you just look at a design and you wonder how someone sat down and thought of it. Some people don’t like to follow the norm, they experiment with different things and the public follows what works.

Wallpapers are the biggest cheat codes in recent years. You can literally have any kind of design you want on your wall and it’ll be placed in less time. One thing I’ve seen most people do is place their wallpaper on just one part of the wall and wall paint on the rest.

Instead of a large wall art, you can simply go for smaller wall arts and arrange them in a nice way, I always use zigzag patterns for this arrangement and it turns out perfect.

Grey color is actually my best especially the light ones. This is a mixture of both dark shades and light shades, this is something I do a lot. I don’t really like the idea of using a single color for so I try to mix different shades.

You can see the center rug, curtains and bench all share a different shade from what’s on the wall. This is the perfect way to utilize a single color, you’ll have to try this out in your space if it’s what you like.

Using different colors in one design has got to be the most satisfying thing ever and if you’re not experienced, you’ll create a disaster. It’s very easy to get this kind of decoration wrong so you’ll need to do it delicately.

Nightstand lamps are probably the most underrated bedroom decor inventions. You have no idea how important the idea to setup a lamp beside the bed is. Asides from easy access, having lights on different corners of the house just makes it look very classy.

A nice farmhouse chandelier that’s not only artistic but gives a good hue. Big plant pots should be utilized and this is even a step further. These are nice traditional baskets used as plant pots.

It’s so nice to see more people moving towards the mixture of ancient items. Vintage items are my best, how can you not love them? Vintage items are very good and they make your space look artistic.

A book shelve that hosts books, wall arts and plants. A perfect brown bohemian rug which blends very well with the traditional windows. A Midcentury modern masterpiece if you ask me, I’ll definitely recommend this.

Leaving the walls empty is just something you’ll never see me do, I like my walls occupied, it’s just one of those things in my design principles. This is a good Midcentury modern bedroom setting and you just know a moody aesthetic would be perfect.

Emerald green is a color you can use for a lot of designs. I’ve used them for vintage decorations a lot and they come out perfect. Using this color for this theme helps a lot especially with the hue it brings.

Having big windows will not really make a difference if you’ve got a nice dark color on your walls. You can clearly see that the windows don’t make the room brighter because the walls are painted in dark green color.

A nice bohemian mat that’s perfect for that traditional look, this is great if you want a vintage item in your modern setting. The perfect curtains for a warm hue are beige curtains, I’ve done this so many times so I know.

A big plant setup will forever be the biggest flex for me, I never miss a chance to get that setup right. Plants are basically the best thing when comes that that feel of nature, it’s just something I cannot resist as it gives the best vibe possible. I love ancient designs like farmhouse, bohemian and some vintage styles but I also love the idea of mixing them with modern day styles. This trend is becoming popular as more people are now mixing ancient and modern designs together.

The best way to get a colored decoration right is by utilizing colors with similarities. It’s very common to see red and brown in the same space between they give off the same vibe and specially if the the red is darker, you can see that most of the items has those two colors.
